I have a LG Tromm front load washer that is making noise from back of the machine. I cleaned out the coin trap, and pulled out a pencil and eraser

The machine looks like it drained, but everything was still wet. When I force a spin only cycle for 15min, the drum looks like it wants to move, but makes noise, then gives up and the sound goes away. It tries to repeat the cycle two or three times, then shuts down with the LE error.

There are no visible burned wires from the rear access panel. And the drum does spin freely, so it doesn't appear to be jammed with other school supplies...

Does this sound like a rotor position switch problem?

Thanks,
Greg

Replaced both drain pump and rotor position switch, and fixed the problem.
