Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/27/2016(UTC) Posts: 2		OK... So no one ever said I was super intelligent, I bought a used dishwasher without seeing it run.. It was already disconnected from it's power cord. After getting it home and installed to the old hard line in the house, first it wouldn't power up at all... So, I shut off the breaker.... Tried again and left breaker on.. after 30 mins, lights suddenly turn on !! BUT, now I can only get it to run on rinse and quick wash.. The soap door only opens in rinse cycle.. Can't get the cancel button to reset the cycle... It's a Maytag MDBH979SAM1.. Do I need an Electronic Control panel and it is hard to replace ? I'm doing it myself as hubby passed away 6 months ago. Any idea how old this unit is... Or how long ago it was in production ?:confused: Thank you for any help !! Kathy
