Top-load, direct drive Maytag Centennial barely agitates but spins fine. Also a loud humming noise while agitating. Dogs are new, coupling between motor and transmission is good.

Hoping it's not the transmission...any thoughts? :confused:

That sounds exactly like a trans might be some stripped gears on the inside
