Ok my wife comes in from the laundry room saying that the towels are still wet after drying them twice. Then she says it just is not heating up.

It was here when I knew I was not watching Formula One today, bummer.

Ok I do the thing we all do, I confirm that there is no heat when you turn it on. Sure enough I run it for 3 minutes and there is no heat at all in the dryer. I unplug the unit and prepare to pull it out and open up the heart to fix it.

But I have a thought, how about I try the manual section. I plug it in and switch it to manual, set the temp to high and turn it on. OMG it gets hot. I go back to auto and no heat. Back to manual, heat.

Ok I'm confused now. If it was a hard part it should never work. This seems like a programming issue.
