Need help here!

Our Kitchen Aid side-by-side frige stopped working today. The lights are still on but it does not cool down at all. When I turned on the fridge, there was a "click" sound from the compressor after some minutes but it wouldn't run.

So my questions are

1) Does this sound like a inverter box issue?
2) If so, do i have to replace it with an OEM inverter box or a universal 3-in-1 hard starter kit would also work?
