So I have a dryer from the 80s and it works fine, has for years. It still works great except for the noise at start and stop. I have included a video of the noise. I run the dryer for a few seconds then stop it. It almost sounds like after the drum has started a wheel takes a bit to get going then after the drum stops a wheel is still going for a bit. I have read that rollers go bad most often but is that what is causing this? I took the top off and ran it and the drum starts right up, the belt is nice and snug and no wear at all. Figured before I ordered possibly $50+ worth of parts I didn't need I would make sure that is what the issue is. I got help from the chat and they believed it was the blower. Before I start taking it apart just want more ears on it to make sure that seems like the issue. Once I take it apart I am not going to put it back together till fixed. Here is the video, hopefully this help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nWuhfctdCI Thanks -Syco54645

finally, been trying to post all day and getting hit with the anti spam, this may take a while to get my post up here... Just completed. This is infuriating and made me want to post elsewhere... This is not how you stop spam. Coming from a web developer enable a better captcha and require accounts to be authenticated. That will go a long way and keep legitimate posters from going elsewhere...
