Having some odd issues with this Washing machine.
Sometimes, although less often now, it runs through all the cycles properly. Mostly, now what is happening is that it goes through the wash and doesn't fully finish the rinse and/or drain and spin cycle properly.
From working with it, the correct spin cycle is a slow start for about 30 seconds, then a fast spin for about 60 seconds, then a very fast cycle for the rest of the time (4 minutes or so).
When i run a wash from the beginning, the spin rarely gets to the very fast cycle, so when it finishes, clothes are still wet. If i unplug the machine for 30+ seconds then plug it back in and just set it to 'drain and spin', it will usually go through the full spin cycle properly.
Other times, when run from the beginning, when it 'ends' it will still be full of suds and some water and I'll have to do the same process, where i unplug it to reset it and then set it to 'drain and spin.' if there is too much water and/or suds at that point, i will have to do the drain and spin either twice because it will not get up to the very fast spin, presumably because of the water that is still in there that i can hear hasn't drained.
Anyway, the result of all this is that i can rarely get through a set it and forget it load anymore. I almost always have to do something with a reset and extra spins before moving to the dryer.
I've tried this with small loads, large loads, medium loads, real small amount of detergent, normal amount of detergent, etc. It doesn't seem to impact this.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.

Sounds like I'm having a similar issue. If we keep the washer cycle type at "heavy," it cycles correctly most of the time. If the wash type is set to something gentler/shorter, it rarely cycles correctly, and the result is a need to repeat or utilize rinse/spin setting to finish the load.
I've seen some mention of a possible issue with the timer function on other forums.
I'll be curious if anyone else comes up with a solution.

Bummer that no one has replied to these queries made six years ago because this is exactly what we are experiencing, too. The only way to nurse the machine through the spin cycle is as described -- unplug, let it rest a minute or two, and then change to rinse and spin or spin. Even then, the spin is often not vigorous. We are experiencing this same issue too. During the spinning cycle I watched it go from 15 minutes to 3 minutes left in just 1 minute. The spin cycle is not going all the way through its normal full cycle and my clothes are still very wet.
