so the magic chef side by side stopped cooling a couple days ago. pulled it out from the wall several inches and by the next day it seemed to be working again. however the ice maker not working (maybe not cold enough?) cleaned dust build up under rear lower cover, the condenser fan is spinning and producing a lot of air flow (does it ever stop turning or is it constant on?). the interior fan seems to be blowing too. the compressor itself is warm to the touch, I can hear clicking relay type sounds (click a few seconds then another click), wait several minutes then repeat cycle. the ice maker arm is up (off position) for now. any ideas would be appreciated.

Clogged coils can cause poor cooling. Check to make sure nothing is stuck in the condenser fan and that it spins freely (models with coils on the back won't have a fan). To do this, unplug the fridge and pull it out |
