My ice maker does not stop making ice. I have to manually shut it off, and then remember to turn it back on. When I move the ice level rod, I don't hear any clicks. What part do I need to replace, or do I replace the whole ice maker?

Also, the exit door for the ice does not close by itself. We have to push it closed otherwise we get frost build-up. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks in advance!

Tough question I guess. Based on additional research, looks like the best thing to do is replace the Ice Maker and replace the flapper. Decided it would be cheaper to use my home warranty to cover it. Guy came out yesterday, confirmed what I was thinking it was. Nice that I'll save a few bucks and have someone else do it.
