Good evening everyone,
I am new to the forum as I am in search of some troubleshooting help. We recently moved our Maytag MSD2756GES to the basement. When it was in the kitchen it worked fine. However, upon plugging it in downstairs, it will not get cold enough on either side. The freezer will get down to about 32 degrees and then I notice frost building up on the tube leading to the coils. I left it unplugged for about 3 days and plugged it back in yesterday. The freezer got down to about 32 degrees pretty quick. I did notice the same frost building up on the copper tube leading to the coils (both inside the freezer behind a plastic shroud). I just checked it today (1 day after) and it was at almost 50 and obviously the frost was gone. Could the defrost board be going bad?
Thanks,
Jerry

Any help would be appreciated. I am at a loss since the refrigerator worked fine until we moved it down stairs. We moved it down sideways so it sat on its side for 10-15 minutes but that is it. What could have happened? It is on its own 15 amp circuit so power should not be a concern. I would really appreciate any help you might be able to give me.
