Hi

Washer makes a loud noise (bang) at end of spin cycle both wash and rinse. Any ideas what may cause it?

Thanks Brian

Brian, it's most likely a problem in the brake rotor, stator, and thrust bearing assembly. You'll need to be very careful removing the stator and rotor the tension spring is rated at 200 lbs. tension strength. If any of the parts are distorted, or the rotor is "hanging up" on the splines of the casing, the rotor will make a noise when the machine stops.
