I have a Whirlpool Cabrio WTW5500XW0 That will not spin or agitate, happening right after we moved it to a new house. It started by not completing the wash cycle and stopping before the final spin with the lid lock light flashing. I was able to use the Drain and Spin selection to get it to finish, but now it will not even get past Sensing before the lid lock light starts flashing and it stops. I have pulled the error codes and am getting the Motor Control Fault code (F1E2). Recently it has made an awful sound when trying to spin or agitate and we had to unplug it to make it stop. I've done the automatic test and when it gets to "Shifter moves to agitation position" it agitates for maybe 5 seconds and then the lid unlocks and the light flashes and it will continue to "Drain Pump will actuate" and drains but stops on "shifter moves to spin position" and I have to advance through the last few steps. We checked all the connections and they seem fine. I cannot find my multimeter to test the connections though. I would like to know if the symptoms are indicative of my motor being bad or perhaps maybe something not as expensive to fix.
Thank you in advance.
