My dryer stopped working just now. I put in a load this morning and it came out wet so I reset it to run again - both on sensor mode. I just went to check on it and the dryer stopped at 13 minutes to go in cycle. The room smells a bit odd - not burning but not normal so it might be over heated? The dryer lights up, beeps when buttons pushed, drum rolls if I push it but it will not start - Any idea what it could be? Thank you!

Hello Davidson700,
You will need to check the two thermal fuses, Part number: AP4037790
Part number: AP4037790
and Part number: AP4043259
Part number: AP4043259
, internal to the dryer if the unit has an ample power supply. If either one of these is the issue you will need to check the dryer duct from the rear of the dryer to outside exhaust vent. There can be no crimps or clogs and it cannot have a low spot where water could accumulate. It should not be too long and complicated. This is the most common cause of this issue and should not be taken lightly since the dryer is sensitive to air flow restriction.
