I have a GE dishwasher that will not stop running the drain pump long after the cycle has been completed. If I open the door it will stop but when I close the door it starts back up. I've tried turning off the breaker for a few hours and holding down the start button to reset but it doesn't clear anything up. I've also disassembled the fine and coarse filters and cleaned them up with vinegar thinking that maybe something was clogged and no luck. Lastly, I removed the float switch (#WD21X10519) and tried to clean it up thinking the float may have gotten stuck. After reassembling everything I shut the door and seemed like everything was fixed as I didn't hear the pump running again. However, the next day we tried to start a cycle and after a couple of minutes of noises and not hearing the water starting I looked at it again and noticed we were back to square one where the drain pump was running again. I'm running out of ideas so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I haven't heard back from anyone and was curious if anyone had any recommendations. Since originally posting this I have tried replacing the main control board (#W21X22276) and it's still doing the same thing. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
