I am replacing an existing cracked cooktop. I ordered and received the replacement part from you. the part number is w10173297 with reference number 85925159 on the packing slip. the cooktop is black while the one ordered was supposed to be spotteld gray. I don"t think the color will be an issue but I wish to double check that the cooktop I received will fit my existing stove. Having asked that and assuming an answer of "yes", do you have any instructions as to how to replace the cooktop? thanks in advance,tom

It is best to call them and talk to a parts rep.
The picture of this in the parts does look grey so perhaps you received the wrong part or this may be a substitution.
Note that they do not monitor this forum.
