Sequence of events:

- noticed fridge was warm (freezer 30, fridge 50)
- replaced overload thinking that it was not turning on the compressor but no change.
- noticed condenser fan was not spinning but confirmed motor worked with a 9v battery.
- Replaced motherboard then start hearing the clicking noise. About every 15 minutes it clicks "on" then "off" three consecutive times.
- condenser fan working with new board and fridge was cold again.
- Replaced overload and relay. Strange but the fridge did not turn on right away when I plugged it back in - did after 5 minutes.
- clicking noise returned. - maybe I didn't install motherboard correctly?? I didn't remove any wires or change anything on the new board.

I have the water filter removed and the water lines disconnected. Could that be making the clicking noise ?

Unfortunately I didn't call GE for a free motherboard.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thank you
