Hi all,

Have a Haier HLP22P.

Cannot seem to find any information on this washer anywhere online and the manual is very limited.

In any case, the washer runs great, besides the fact that when it comes to the spin cycle, the inner tub moves around so much, it triggers the safety switch. I disabled the switch but the tub is moving around a scary amount.

Yes, I leveled the tub.
Yes, I have tried this on an empty tub.

Since I cannot find any useful information regarding this tubs dampening features, I had a peak inside. It seems like the inner tub i suspended on 4 bungee style cords. Now I wouldn't doubt that after so many years of operation that they wouldn't be worn out, however I find it hard to believe that these would be more than supports for the inner tub rather than dampers for when the machine is spinning.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Phil.

I can only suggest you talk to Haier. I have not worked on this model and I doubt if many others who respond here have also.

Sorry, wish I had better news.
