Just tried replacing the coil kit for my gas dryer that had the heat shut off after about 5-6 cycles. Ignitor glows red, but fire won't turn on.
This problem happens a few minutes after turning on - it works well for a few minutes but then when the machine is hot, the ignitor will glow but the flame does not go on.
It can't be the coils because they were just replaced.
What could it be?

I was told by an appliance repairman to "check the vents". Does anyone have any clue what that means?
