Will I Damage a Refrigerator or Freezer If I Store It in the Garage?
if my garage drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

If the unit is unplugged it should not damage it.

I would not store it for too long.
I see many posts where after a year of storage the unit does not work.
Being inside or outside does not seem to matter.

I would prop the doors open for a couple days to a week after you move it there.
Just to get rid of any moisture in it.
Otherwise when you go to use it again it may be full of mold.

Also try to keep the unit upright when moving it.
