I am desperate!!!! My Kenmore oven thermostat knob melted (yep it did) and I am trying to find a replacement. All I hear is that the part has been discontinued. Is there an after marked part or how do I find this part. My oven is basically not working without it.

Thank you so much for any help possible!

Kathy :)

Your model number does not come up.
Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then an additional 8 digits.

You could take the knob to an appliance parts/repair place and they may be able to find a suitable replacement for you.

You could also go the AppliancePartsPros parts site and instead of entering a model enter "oven knob" and then go through them. Be sure that you get to see both sides of the knob so you know how it mounts to the oven control.
Also take note that the pointer is correct in relation to how it mounts.

I would say that the parts store is an easier and more reliable option.
