I had this problem twice. Last year I was told to replace Control Board. Didn't fix it. Turned washer over and found nut that holds basket on was loose. Tightened. A year later same problem. Turned washer over and nut was loose again. Used Loktite this time and hope it holds.

This nut being loose may also cause washer to do other odd things.

Also would keep repeating rinse.
