Our electric clothes dryer has gotten noisy so I recently ordered a new belt and belt tension pulley from you. It did not help.
The noise is a loud, pulsing-buzzing sound, sometimes several minutes long, other times in multiple one second buzzes. It comes and goes many times in a single drying cycle. The noise seems to be coming from the belt vibrating like a tuning fork between the tension pulley and the drum. As I've watched it happen, the drum and support rollers show no signs of catching or hesitating. I've taken the machine apart several times and could find nothing that could look suspicious. The support rollers look fine and their axles show minimal wear. The front and rear felt seals seem to be in good condition. I've examined the drum, looking for and feeling for rough spots. The drum seems fine. The front pads also look good. I'm at a complete loss. What could be causing this? HELP!!!!!! Thank you.
