Electrolux 27.8 cu/ft french door refrigerator mfg'd 2009
-purchased used 2013 (not by me!), mod/ser number missing except for bar code sticker on back of appliance, wiring diagram also missing
SY EF error indicates fault in evaporator fan circuit. Evaporator fan not running in appliance, but motor runs with 9v battery albeit with some noise. Purchased new motor which also runs fine with battery but does not run in appliance. Voltage measures around 12v R to Bwn, and 2-12v Y to Bwn, and no obvious signs of corrosion in wiring harness. What am I missing?

Forgot a few things:
- compressor runs fine thus freezer stays cold but not fresh food compartment
- defrost cycle also OK, no excess ices on evaporator coils
- no effect with door switch open v closed
