The top portion of both my fridge and freezer not cooling....condensor is running but feels really warm....condensor fan running constantly...problem occurred about 2 days ago

Is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
If not then the cold air settles at the bottom of the compartments causing the symptoms you describe.
Also make sure that any venting between the two compartments is clear on both sides so that there is proper air flow between them. |

The only fan i see is the one beside the condensor...where would i see the freezer fan?

You may not be able to see it. It is in the freezer at the back below the louvers of the cover. You may have to push the door switch closed to feel it blowing, some units shut it off when the door is opened. Note that the compressor should be on.
If you go to the Sears site and search for your unit. They have part breakdown diagrams and it is in the Air Flow section.
Unfortunately these diagrams are not available through AppliancePartsPros though APP does sell the parts. |
