The Frigidaire dishwasher does not heat correctly. Things I've checked/tried:

1. The heating coil measures 16 ohms, which appears correct.
2. The thermostat measures 0 ohms, which seems correct. In addition, I shorted it during the test cycle with no change.
3. The connections to the heating coil reach about 11 volts DC during the heat cycle -- is this correct? Should it be higher?

How to proceed? It seems next step is to replace the system board, but that is expensive and probably means the dishwasher will be discarded. Thanks.

No. It should be 120 volts AC.

With power off to the unit and the door switches closed check at the control board (P8 to P3-7) You should see the 16 ohms if the heating coil.

If it is OK then odds are high that it is a board problem.
