Hello

I have used the autoclean on my oven and since that day it doesn't work.
It's a Kenmore but unfortunately I can't find the model number.
The model is 3 to 5 years max and there is no breaker.
If you can help It will be much appreciated.

Perhaps the following will help you find the model number.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

Also exactly what is not working?
And what is anything does work?

If the timer/clock is out then many units have a thermal fuse in the wire which has power for the timer.

If the timer is OK and you just have no heat then many units have a thermal cutout attached to the back, outside of the oven.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the tome to respond to my email. I clicked on the link you gave me and we looked everywhere (inside/outside the door & inside/outside the drawer) and could'nt find the model number. The only thing we found is the trademark "Kenmore Elite".

The timer of the oven is working but as you said there is no heat.
My husband and I checked the back and there is no thermal cutout at the back of the oven.

Any other suggestion?
Nathalie

Is it an oven or is it a stove?

Stoves usually do not have a thermal cutout or a thermal fuse.

Try checking the power
Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times. Sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
Check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.
Do this with the heater off and on.

All I can suggest as far as finding a model number is to get a part number off the control board/timer.
Then look that up and with luck you will find a model number.
The timer is the only part in a unit that is usually model specific or at least for a series of models.
