My Amana SX22NW side-by-side refrig has been running non-stop.

Facts: (Problem:compressor, condenser fan and evap fan run non-stop)

a) unit freezes, cools and maintains temps (ie 0F/37F respectfully)

b) depressing the light switch 3-4 times within 4 seconds causes the unit to go into a defrost mode (all motors turn off),

c) the Condenser coils were cleaned with a brush and vacuum after issue noted, however still have problem.

Something in the feedback loop is not telling the compressor circuitry to turn off when the temps are good, however the temps are okay in the unit.

I'm hoping someone has seen something like this and can suggest a troubleshooting action plan.
