Takes longer to dry large loads or heavy items
in normal loads (e.g., jeans). This started recently.

I have already checked:

- Exhaust is clear and air flows freely

- Tore-down the dryer and cleaned all lint
(there wasn't much)

- Checked operation of the thermostat,
it is cycling at the rated temperature.

- Checked operation of the bias heater,
the thermostat is cycling at lower temperatures
in the "medium" and "low" heat settings

- Checked the heating element, ~ 9.7 ohm
resistance

Does anyone know whether this is the correct
resistance for that heating element?

The dryer is squeaking a lot and I need to replace
the drum rollers and idler wheel. Could that somehow
affect drying time?

Anything else I forgot to check?

Thanks in advance

I cannot find any info on the given model number.
Trued here and the Sears site.
Please check it.

Note that if this is not a USA unit I probably will not be able to find info on it.

Your heater resistance looks OK but I cannot confirm this.

Check if the drum speed is the same with light and heavy loads?
If it is slower then that will effect dry times.

Did you check/clean the blower wheel?

OK I will not be able to find tech info on this unit.

The Sears Canada parts site stinks.
I know because I am also Canadian.
