I'll try to make this as brief and concise as possible. I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III, model GU2400XTPS3. A few weeks ago I'd had the apparently common, dreaded blinking LED. Following the solid advice given to others by the good folks on this forum I performed the appropriate tests and subsequently replaced the control board.
The unit worked good as new for a bit over a week. Then one day my wife tried to run a load of dishes but the unit wouldn't respond to any control buttons. The 'Door Open' LED remains lit no matter what the position, even with the door properly latched. I tested the micro switch and have power to and continuity through it. Frankly I'm at a loss at this point.
