My mom's got an old GE wall oven. It has had nothing but trouble with bottom coil. 2 yrs ago she replaced it after it cracked open and started a fire. She called someone out and paid too much. 6 months ago it happened again and I changed it out. Two bolts and 2 screws.

Today I noticed it was not heating again.

I pulled it out just now to discover only one wire attached. The other wire has disconnected (looks burned off some how) from its little square connector. Connector was still in place, but I don't think I can reuse.

Update. A little more research reveals my wire burned off. Not sure how I didn't open live.

Seems I need to cut the wire and install a new terminal end. But I can't find a part number for it.

Model number is JRP03G HIBC

As far as I know there is no part number.
Remove it from the element and take it to an appliance parts store or electronics store and get a replacement.

If you go to an electronics supply house make sure you get one rated for high current.

Also the wire has to be cut back till you get to nice clean copper otherwise it will just burn off here again due to a poor connection.
