Hello APP,

I have a Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator, Side By Side Model, that has started to leak under the unit.

I opened up the kickplate to see the Drain Pan underneath is overflowing every ~24 hours, and opened up the backplate to reveal a drip, as highlighted in the following photos:


Under the Fridge, opened up the front plate, to see a overflowing Drain Pan



Back of the Fridge, had to also clean up the floor



Drilled open the back plate to see the problem






Any idea how to prevent this? My forum search has not pinned a solution. Thx.

The drip is I think, condensation, and dripping coming from the the Teal Piece, as highlighted in the red circle.

I think either it is dripping too much, or the fan is not evaporating the water quickly enough, hench an overflow of the drip pan. Am I on the right track?

Ah, I see. I will take a second look at the water valve, "Valve-Inlt" then.
