Hi all,

GE Gas dryer. Heats up then cools down and stays cool for the rest of the cycle. I got into the service menu and ran the tests, everything seems to work right - other then it no longer heats after a few minutes.

I was wondering if i'm on the right track here.

I looked at the diagram for this dryer (http://www.applianceblog.com/manuals/31-9136_GEFDryer.pdf) and thought it could be the inlet safety or outlet backup thermostat switches. Then after reading a bit, it could also be the coils.

Which way should i go with this?

Thanks!

If it were me, I would go with the least expensive parts first. The coils would be my first guess.
