Hi I have a KitchenAid KUDS01FLSS6 and the soap dispenser door is not opening. I removed the kickplate but no tech sheet to be found (prior homeowner must have lost it). The door does open when i run the diagnostic cycle, so what do i do next? does this leave me with either a) faulty wiring from control board to dispenser, or b) a defective control board?
I have a multi-meter but am unsure of how to check continuity of the wires between the dispenser and the control board. Any help would be appreciated!
thanks, Todd

Here are your parts

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

First I would check the dispenser resistance at the control board P2-4 to P10, should be 280 to 340 ohms.

Note that even if it is OK it does not mean that the dispenser is OK as it may have other problems.
