After 7 days of non-use, I returned home to find a wet kitchen floor. Because the overflow tub was filled (and the sensor told as much), I attributed it to having too much sud. After cleaning up the mess, it worked without any issues.

Fast forward a month later, I returned home after 10 days to find my kitchen floor wet again. This time, I found the inside tub had filled up with water and the door insulation wicked it up and kindly leaked them on to the floor. This time, the overflow tub was dry.

I am guessing some kind of water inlet solenoid is bad? I have hard water so mineral build up is common.

Do you guys agree or disagree? If agree, what is the part I need to replace?

Currently, if I use my dishwasher at least once a day, there are no leak issues.

Thanks!

I would start with the water inlet valve. APP has it as part # AP3783031. Clean, clear water leaking in and filling the machine usually indicates bad inlet valve.
