Two years later I go to replace the noisy evap motor I find the factory motor is W10208121. I would like to know if the new switching design 2163777 motor is considered superior to the original shaded pole motor W10208121?

I looked up your model number on bothe Sears and AppliancePartsPros and the 2315539 comes up as the correct number. Looks like Sears and Appliance Part Pros were wrong about my frig having part number 2315539 fan from the factory. Fan 2315539 has a two wire plastic power plug and my frig does not have the matching plug. So to use the 2315539 I will have to cut off the plastic plug and crimp on spade terminals that match the factory wires. Other than the wires it looks like the two motors are interchangeable. The sticker on the factory open frame evap motor says- ORM.1037K1 AC115HZ 0.14A W10208121Z. PCLA (3000 RPM) FSP OH SUNG OT
