Never had any problems until the other night until the dishwasher started leaking significant water from the right side (as you looked it from the front)

It was only on that side.

Based on the videos it appears as though, hopefully, I just need splash guards or perhaps a new bottom door seal?

Anyone experience this or have any advice? I'm about as novice as they come when home repairs are involved.

As long as you can tell that there is no leak coming from the bottom under the machine, then it is most likely something caught between the gasket and frame, or a torn/ bad gasket.
