Looking for an icemaker water fill tube for my Roper RT21LMXJW01. The parts illustrations I've seen online don't seem to show this part and none of the DIY videos resemble what I have.

I am thinking this is my problem because I have water leaking and freezing inside my freezer underneath the liners. Eventually, the drain gets froze over and water leaks to the inside of my fridge. There is no water leaking outside the fridge. Usually, with the liners removed, everything directly underneath the fill tube inside the freezer is covered with ice, along with what is puddled and frozen in the bottom of the freezer compartment. If I did it right, the defrost heater ohm'd OK. I have also used the "shepherds hook" trick with no positive results. I have shut off water to the fridge and turned the icemaker lever off. I have not had my freeze over since.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sometimes the water fill valve fails to fully close, which allows water to slowly seep into the ice mold, then overflow into the compartment. Replace the valve if it seeps into the mold after shut off.

There should be a small adjustment screw on the ice maker mechanism also, which will allow you to shorten the fill cycle into the ice mold. These adjustment screws only need to be turned a half turn or so in either direction to increase or decrease the flow time. Too much flow time = overflow.
