Maytag MED5700TQ0 starts but won't continue to run.** I can hold in the start button to keep it running.
I checked the motor start/run switch and it's ok. This model does not have an idle pulley switch.
Any suggestions?
Can I temporarily jumper the start button switch without doing harm?

Faulty push to start switch/relay. Yes, you can jump the switch without causing a problem. Jump the two blue wires.
