Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/11/2012(UTC) Posts: 33		I have been having problems with my Kitchen Aid 48". The freezer temp goes up to -10 and the refrigerator is 43. I have to turn the system off for a day and then the system will go back to normal. I think there is something wrong with the defrost system. I have had help from Denman but he has not been back on line for the last few days.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/2/2015(UTC) Posts: 187		Check defrost thermostat, and defrost heat element. The evaporator fan has to be running to circulate cold air from freezer to refrigerator section.
