Hi, my GE GSH25JSX side by side is not cold on the freezer or refrigerator side. I checked the evaporator coils and there is no ice build up at all. The evaporator fan works, the condenser coils are clean and the fan works. The compressor has a slight vibration on it so I think it works.

I put the evaporator and freezer/defrost thermistor in ice water and use a multimeter to read the ohms. The evaporator thermistor read 0 (wires 4&5 on the J-1 plug) while the freezer/defroster thermistor read 15.5K ohms (wires 3&5 on the J-1 plug).

What should I do?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Update: It ended up being the inverter/overload on the compressor that needed replacing.
