Hopefully someone can help as I am nearly at my wits end. Have a 14 year old Double Stack never had any problems with the washer parts until I recently moved- However the part for the washer knob (push and Pull) #131977001 does not match correctly to the original part which was a screw on part to put it on the timer which was also recently replaced but was the same part- also a screw on. The replacement part appears to be a push on knob and not a screw on knob. However it does not seem to be compatible with the arrow dial with the line on it and I cannot figure out even so how this part fits onto the timer itself as it does not seem to fit in any way that I can see. My dryer timer part which I have replaced with Appl. Parts pros a couple of times is a moon shaped fit "D" but the washer knob replacement does not seem to fit and I cannot find any kind of a screw on replacement! Do we have the right part? Does the dial for the timer also need to be replaced with another bigger sized "D" type connection in order to get this part to work for the actual push and pull knob? Hopefully someone has an answer. Great machine and Appl. parts Pros has always delivered but I am extremely frustrated between the repair itself and trying to find parts as an on going thing with the repair people for other things i.e. Belt, transmission and now new seals for my washer. If I could find the right proper knob I would be in business again. = Todd T. Denver Colorado
