Hello all, Yesterday my fridge suddenly crapped out, first the freezer stopped working then the fridge got hot too, I looked at a some You Tube videos, most said clean the condensers, and yes my condenser was filthy with dust and hair, 2 cats and 2 dog helped a lot.

The Condenser is round so I only can reach to clean approx half of it, the fan moves freely on the condenser, I brushed and cleaned, but it needs to come out to be cleaned properly, I am a very handy person, but I do not want to ruin the fridge if it is only a dirt problem...

Is there any tips or suggestions anyone could help me with i would really appreciate it..I have a large freezer that took all the stuff from our freezer, but the stuff in the fridge is in a cooler, and my Old lady is not a happy camper.
If there is something I can do, I would like to try, if not, its Sunday, I will have to wait until tomorrow to call for repair .

Thanks ahead of time..Semper Fi...Chesty

Does the compressor start and run?
Does the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment run when the fridge comes on?
You can also blow the condenser coils out with an air compressor and wand.

Yes sir it does, I took off the cardboard back outside the fridge and cleaned the coils also blew out the coils with air, but they are round, and I can see no access, I am sure a Fridge mechanic knows how.
There is even air moving throughout the freezer..I took off the cover inside of the freezer and the coils were not frozen over.
Approx. 2 days ago we noticed the ice starting to melt, then by the next day, it was dead...,I even looked up how to reset the temperatures of the fridge and freezer by following instructions from You Tube..It did reset to factory temps, so it said to wait 24 hours to let it take the settings I guess.
Something must be broken, Weds we have Sears guy coming..If you know anything else, please let me know..Thanks Chesty
