I read through Gene's post about common causes with this issue, however, I am unable to find the Defrost Timer Which would enable me to manually force a defrost cycle. I tried this site and ******************************** and it doesn't appear that part is available so I question if this model has this part. Can anyone confirm?? Also, if it does, then any help to point me in the right direction of where it is or an alternate method of forcing a cycle would be helpful. I have the back panel of the freezer off already. Just ready to do some troubleshooting so I can buy the correct part/parts. The evaporator fan is running and the fins are currently frosted up but nothing crazy (at least not yet). Thanks in advance for any help!

Also, the damper valve between the fridge and freezer had some ice around it on the fridge side. I let it thaw and it is removed but still conected and in the fridge side. There is now some cold air blowing into the fridge from the freezer but when it was all connected in its operational position, I didn't notice it open so perhaps it is not functioning and keeping proper amount of cold air from reaching the fridge compartment?
