I have notices small beads of styrofoam on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator since it was installed. Until now there have only been a few pieces occasionally. In the last couple weeks the amount has increased and I have to clean them out daily. The refrigerator is cooling correctly so I hesitate to pay someone to come out. Does anyone else have this issue and do I need to have it fixed or just tolerate it?

Could be;
1- loose beads from factory if it is fairly new
2- beads from styrofoam housing where diffuser enters refrigerator compartment
3- beads being knocked loose from area where evaporator fan is installed

In any case, I doubt it is anything serious, and I would bet it will stop sooner than later. If a fan blade were causing the problem, you would hear the fan grinding against the foam.
