My GE Artica stopped cooling.

Fresh food: 40-45 degrees
Freezer: 20-26 degrees.
All the thermistors inside are accurate.

The strange thing is when it is first plugged in, the compressor fan and compressor are OFF and the freezer temperature reads 0 (it is really about 25) inside the fridge.

After 1 hour, the freezer temperature reads 30 and then the comp. fan and compressor will start. The compressor gets warm on top, hot on the bottom. But doesn't seem to make as much noise as it did in the past (clunking - turning on/off), but it is running.

The mother board does deliver 120v to the compressor. But I haven't checked the compressor relays yet.

Any ideas? That hour delay is definitely something new. I've worked on this alot, and generally when plugged in it will start cooling immediately.

I would suspect a bad control board. I would first check the start relay on the compressor, sometimes they will work for a while, then stop again if they are bad.
