 The freezer has frost on the back wall and is not cooling correctly. The refrigerator is also not cooling correctly but is not as far off as freezer.
Fridge is 41 degrees, freezer is 25 degrees. I believe this to be a defrost issue and need to determine which part is the likely culprit causing the issue.

First, check the defrost thermostat, that is the cheapest part. Next, check the defrost timer to make sure it goes into defrost mode, if it does, the your problem is the defrost thermostat.
On occasion, the defrost element will fail as well, but not as likely.
Make sure the evaporator fan is running before all else.
