I have a side by side fridge and after cleaning the coils, the fridge stopped cooling, but the freezer works well. In addition the magnetic door seal on the fridge side heats up extremely. What's causing it to heat up. Do I need to replace the seal? Please help. Thank you.

The seal is probably OK.
The common cause for the divider heating up is poor cooling of the condenser coils.

1. Check that the kick plate and rear cover vents are clean.
2. Check that the condenser/compressor fan is on when the compressor is on.
3. Clean the condenser coils and the fan blades.
