Defrost thermostat appears to be faulty. Part is clipped to the evaporator but is not on any parts diagram. Was on the phone to 2 parts dealers who said it doesn't exist. But there it is and how would it work without it. Any help with a part # would be appreciated. Can not read the PN on the part by the way.

I think it is part of the below wire harness. Click on the below to see the parts breakdown diagram. It is item 26. Part number: AP5949839
You will have to call a parts representative to see if it is available as a separate part. Alternatively get the numbers off the defrost thermostat and try to find a substitute part that you can install using wire nuts. |
