My GE oven is not preheating to temps higher than 300-325 degrees. Leave it on 400 for 1/2 hour and still no heat to that temp. turn the dial back to about 300 and is beeps that it is that temp. Have not tried any fixes yet. What do you suggest?

Hi.

The problem with your oven is within the temperature sensing circuitry. It could be incorrect temperature sensor, faulty control board or the connecting harness (damaged wire insolation or burnt plug).
To get you the right parts we need to know the complete model number. There should be more letters and numbers.

Thank you,

Simon.
