Hello again!
Its been a couple of years, but I am back with a new problem ;)
I have a Kenmore 106.53606201 Side by Side. There seems to be a problem with the fridge not getting down to a proper temperature, while the freezer seems to be working as expected. Here is what I know:
• Freezer is at zero
• Fridge holds around mid 40s if left closed overnight (Set at 33)
• Evap coils show a good frost pattern
• Evap fan is running
• Coil heater is working
• Removed fridge thermistor and at room temp it was showing ~2.7k Ohms
• Ran diagnostic and observed damper motor moving. (it was replaced 2 years ago)
• Removed back panel feeding the damper and observed no blockage of ice.
• There is cool air blowing into the fridge.
Any advice as to what else to check?
Thank you!

Hi, Craig.

You need to determine if the air diffuser opens all the way during the test. If it's not, pull it out and check if the curtain is not damaged. If the curtain opens completely jam it with a pencil (careful not to break it) to keep it open and check the temperature after a few hours. If the temperature will go down to normal or even colder, the thermistor is within the range and the air diffuser opens up completely it's sounds like the main control board. The bad news are that it is no longer available.

The air diffuser Part number: AP3084126
Part number: AP3084126

The control board Part number: 8201528
Part number: 8201528

Thank you,

Simon.
